All manuscripts that report rigorous investigative processes (full paper) with a length between 12 and 15 pages (including figures, tables and bibliographic references) will be accepted, as well as those papers report the preliminary results of investigative processes in progress (short papers) with an extension between 6 and 8 pages (including figures, tables and bibliographic references).

These Scientific Articles will be oriented to promote the progress of science. They must be accompanied by experiments and results that prove the hypotheses of an investigation. The manuscripts must be written only in language English. These contributions must be original and unpublished, not published in any other conference or scientific journal and should not be evaluated at another similar event.

All manuscripts will undergo a thorough double-blind review by at least 3 reviewers (see our international program committee). These documents must not contain the names of the authors, or the affiliations or any information that may reveal their identity (this information will be delivered with the final version of the manuscript).

Once the article is accepted, the authors should improve it by attending the comments/suggestions provided by reviewers without exceeding the page limit. We encourage authors to include their ORCIDs in their submissions. All accepted articles will be published in the CCIS Communications in Computer and Information Science proceedings series and included in SpringerLink

Communications in Computer and Information Science proceedings are submitted for indexing in Scopus, Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science, EI, DBLP, etc.

Original contributions will be received in the fields of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, and Computer Engineer, as well as related such as Automation, Control, Domotics, Robotics in their different applications.
These Technical Articles must present novel applications, practical experiences and technical challenges using a certain scientific foundation.
Manuscripts will be evaluated by double-blind review, following the publication standards of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
The accepted contributions will be published in a special volume of INGENIUS journal belonging to the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana.

All manuscripts carried out by national and international researchers will be published. These contributions must be original and unpublished, and they have not been published through any printed or electronic site, or be in the process of arbitration or publication. These contributions may be written in Spanish or English languaje, and they could be technological development reports, model proposals, products of the elaboration of the undergraduate and postgraduate thesis as long as they are a contribution to the field of science and technology, as well as selected reviews of the state of the art. (state-of-the-art).

• Researches: length between 5.000 to 6.500 words. That includes title, abstract, keywords, tables y references. 
• Reports, proposals, and products: length 5,000 to 6,500 words, including title, abstract, tables, and references. 
• Reviews: length 6,000 to 7,000 words, including tables and references. The justified, current and selective references of around 40 works are especially valued. 

The evaluation of the article will be made according to criteria of originality, relevance, topicality, contributions, scientific rigor, and compliance with the established editorial standards.
