Iván Pau received a Ph.D. degree in “accessible systems and services” from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain. He is currently an Associate Professor of telematics engineering with UPM and head of the “InnoTep (innovación tecnológica para las personas)” research group. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience at grade, master, and doctoral level, supervising more than ninety final grade/master projects and seven PhDs to date. His research activity is based on the development of sociotechnical services focusing on the application of ICT to support multidisciplinary cooperation. He has contributed to national and international research projects in the field of Health, and in innovation projects in the fields of education and cybersecurity awareness for citizens.
